to PestMasters Plus
service:
INSPECTION:
A detailed termite and general pest inspection
will be performed.
If termites have not yet attacked
your home, Halo* monitoring stations will be installed
in the ground around the perimeter of structures to
serve as an early warning system against termite infestation. When
termites attack the wood in the stations they break
an electronic conductor sandwiched inside. This break
is then detected by the handheld scanner our technician
uses to check the stations periodically. In addition,
your home is also inspected on a regular basis.
A detailed assessment of other pests to be prevented
or controlled will be made and we will customize a treatment
strategy for your home. Typically covered pests include
rats, mice, cockroaches, ants, crickets, spiders, sow-bugs,
silverfish, ground beetles and fleas.
TREATMENT:
The initial treatment and installation of
Halo* stations will be performed. At a minimum, the
service will consist of: Application of an exterior
perimeter crawling insect treatment. De-webbing of
spider webs on the exterior and interior of your home.
Installation of rodent monitoring stations if needed.
Inspection and targeted treatment as needed on the
interior.
At each
scheduled
service
visit, the Halo® stations are inspected for signs
of termite activity. An electronic monitoring device
quickly and efficiently determines whether termites
are feeding at each station. When termites are discovered,
PestMasters will apply a liquid treatment zone in
the area the termites are feeding. The materials are
not repellent to termites and they will unknowingly
ingest and pass through it. They will then transfer
the material to their nest-mates through sharing their
food and direct contact before they die.
